As a result Paolo is fluent in Italian, English, and French and has knowledge in Spanish and Portuguese. In 1972, Paolo began his Canadian broadcast in Montreal as a radio sportscaster for the multicultural station, CMFB 1410 Radio. He then moved to Toronto and became the host of a daily Italian program, Daisons Communications, which aired on City TV. However, Paolo didn't forget his Montreal roots as he founded Quebec's first Italian daily Newspaper, Il Ponte, in 1977. Paolo continued to expand his horizons when he joined the CFMT Television Network (now known as OMNI) in 1979. Over the years he hosted and directed sports programs at CFMT, and eventually moved into an executive producer position. However, Paolo answered a higher calling in 1993 when he became Executive Vice President and General Manager of Telelatino Television Network. Since then Paolo remained in the executive realm as he became editor and CEO of Les Publications Ensemble Inc. (a weekly Italian newspaper in Montreal) in 1999; Founder and Member of the Executive Committee and Board of Directors of Italian Canadian Savings and Credit Union in 2000; and in that same year, President and CEO of Inner Peace Television Network [The first Canadian Religion (Catholic) Television (Digital Service)]. In 2000, Paolo also joined Toronto’s multicultural station, CHIN Radio/Television International, as a news anchor and writer. Today he continues to work in CHIN’s news room and he also hosts and produces “Mandi Mandi,” a weekly magazine styled radio show and website devoted to the Friulan community of Canada.
