Pearl of the Orient has been on the air since July 1996 and strives to provide the Filipino community of Toronto with news and information concerning their heritage.  Pearl of the Orient caters primarily to those between the ages of 30 and 70.  This program entertains the audience with various folk and modern Filipino music, along with news, events and issues that concern the Filipino community.  The program allows its listeners to discover the wealth and beauty of the Filipino language and culture.
