CHIN Radio is very happy to welcome back our award wining Producer & Broadcaster; Jai with his world renowned "Caribbean Connection" show.

Jai has been a dedicated member of the CHIN family since 1979.  Jai began hosting the Caribbean Connection in 1981 & retired in 2011.  During this break he realized that his format was unique & highly respected throughout the community, not just in the GTA but throughout the world.  In fact, for several years Jai received numerous requests to bring his popular show back onto CHIN airwaves.  Jai’s style is often imitated but can never be duplicated.  His diverse music repertoire combined with his extensive knowledge of history behind the music he plays, the creators, the arrangers and singers can’t be found anywhere else on Canadian radio.

The "Caribbean Connection" consist of sweet Soca, classic Calypso, Chutney, Parang, Steel Pan & Reggae.

Join your host Jai & guest Dj Riyad at 9pm till 11pm every Saturday. 

Dj Riyad brings over 20 years of musical experience to the "Caribbean Connection" as one of Toronto's best Djs with a reputation for bringing you smooth live mixes.

Then at 11pm till Midnight we take you to another level with Master Mignon as he gives you some of the best Reggae music you can find on radio.  His passion for selecting amazing Reggae music comes alive in every mix.
